Pakistan beat England by 3 wickets to reach U-19 World Cup 2014 Final

Pakistani tailanders Zafar Gohar and Ahmad Butt helped Pakistan beat England by three wickets in ICC Under-19 World Cup semi final at Dubai International Cricket Stadium on Monday.

England scored 204 in the first inning due to the late striking of captain WMH Rhodes. RF Higgins also scored fifty in the semi final.

From Pakistani bowling side Zia-ul-Haq, Amad Butt and Karamat Ali took two to wickets while one batsman becomes the victim of Kamran Ghulam.

In reply Pakistani openers scores 41 runs in opening partnership then due to the tight bowling of English players Pakistan’s batting collapse and lost their three wickets in under sixteen runs.

After that Ameer Hamza and Saud Shakeel balanced the inning with their steady batting and after the dismissals of these two’s Pakistan’s batting again struggle to win the match.

But sensible and brave batting from tailanders Zafar Gohar and Amad Butt helped Pakistan completed their sensational victory in the first ball of the final over of the match.

Pakistan will play the final against Australia or South Africa at the same venue on Saturday.
