Islamabad (Web Desk): President Mamnoon Hussain has summoned a session of National Assembly (NA) on 1st August 2017 to elect fresh Prime Minister after Nawaz Sharif was disqualified by the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) over top court’s order.
The session was summoned after Parliamentary Affair Ministry forward a summery to President Mamnoon Hussain.
According to the law, the session will witness in the presence of speaker of national assembly Ayaz Sadiq announce schedule for election of the fresh Prime Minister (PM) of Pakistan.
According to detail, Fresh PM Election will likely to held on 2nd August or 3rd August.
Pakistan Muslim League (N) announced petroleum minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi to be the interim PM and Chief Minister (CM) of Punjab, Shehbaz Sharif to fill his shoes after 45 days.
Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf also announced his candidate for Prime Minister is Sheikh Rasheed.
