European champions Portugal will welcome Luxembourg to the Jose Alvalade stadium in Lisbon tonight at 20:45 (CET).
Portugal will continue their pursuit of a place at the EURO 2020 when they host Luxembourg in the qualifying Group B this evening.
The reigning European champions and UEFA Nations League winners return home, following two away wins in Serbia (4-2) and Lithuania (5-1) in September.
Cristiano Ronaldo made history with his four goals in the 5-1 thrashing in Vilnius, becoming the all-time top goalscorer in the European Qualifiers. He’ll have the chance to improve his record this evening against one of the weakest sides in the group – Luxembourg.
The visitors have collected four points from their five qualifying games – all of them against the national team of Lithuania.
They will be looking to win more than once during qualification for a European championship for the first time since 1996.
