For the second week in a row, NFL fans will have to set their alarms for early Sunday morning. The Miami Dolphins and Jacksonville Jaguars will continue the NFL International Series in London at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium after the New York Jets and Atlanta Falcons played there in Week 5.
The best matchup of the weekend could end up being buried in the early hours of Sunday, when Justin Herbert and the Los Angeles Chargers visit Lamar Jackson and the Baltimore Ravens.
Below is a breakdown of the best games of week 6.
Thursday Night Football: Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs. Philadelphia Eagles
Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are back in primetime, this time with a date set against an old rival. The Philadelphia Eagles, fresh off a Week 5 win to improve to 2-3, host the Bucs 4-1 at Lincoln Financial Field on Thursday at 8:20 p.m. ET.
Brady is very familiar with the Eagles, having played them on two of his 10 trips to the Super Bowl. He defeated the Birds in Super Bowl XXXIX, then fell to Nick Foles’ Eagles in Super Bowl LII.
This will be Brady’s first meeting with the Eagles since he joined the Bucs, which means it will also be his first date with quarterback Jalen Hurts. Hurts has had ups and downs early in the season, throwing for 273 yards a game but losing four times in five games.
Thursday night will be a big test for the Eagles as they continue their difficult early-season schedule. This is his fifth consecutive week playing against a team with a winning record. Tampa Bay, meanwhile, faces a team with a losing record for the third straight week.

Sunday Morning Football: Miami Dolphins vs. Jacksonville Jaguars
Another pair of struggling teams will cross the pond for a game in London on Sunday morning. Two 1-3 teams, the Jets and Falcons, played there in Week 5. This week, it’s the Dolphins 1-4 and the Jaguars 0-5.
Miami has lost four straight games after winning its first game of the season. Injuries and inconsistent defense have plagued the Dolphins: Starting quarterback Tua Tagovailoa was injured in Week 2 and the defense has allowed 27 points or more in four consecutive weeks. Jacoby Brissett has started the past three games under center, with the team averaging 20.7 points per game and going 0-3.
The Jaguars could be one of the few teams in worse shape than the Dolphins entering Week 6. Head coach Urban Meyer has done a better job distracting his team rather than training it, and Jacksonville has lost 20 straight games since Last season. Trevor Lawrence, the top pick overall, is still prone to turnovers (eight interceptions in five games), but has shown glimpses of what made him the No. 1 pick.
NFL Week 6 Sunday Afternoon Matchups
With four teams on a break this week, there are 10 matchups on Sunday afternoons in Week 6, seven at 1 p.m. ET slate and three at 4 p.m. Blackboard ET.
Many stars will be in action during the first window, including a showdown between Justin Herbert’s Chargers and Lamar Jackson’s Ravens in Baltimore. Patrick Mahomes’ Kansas City Chiefs and Matthew Stafford’s Los Angeles Rams will also travel east to play the Washington Football Team and the New York Giants, respectively. The Green Bay Packers and Chicago Bears will rekindle their rivalry when Aaron Rodgers’ team visits Justin Fields at Soldier Field.
The three games on Sunday afternoon have an interesting story. The undefeated Arizona Cardinals visit the Cleveland Browns at 4:05 p.m. ET. At 4:25 p.m., Dak Prescott and the 4-1 Dallas Cowboys head to Foxboro to face Mac Jones and the 2-3 New England Patriots. The Las Vegas Raiders will also play the Denver Broncos with interim head coach Rich Bisaccia after Jon Gruden resigned this week.
Sunday Night Football: Seattle Seahawks vs. Pittsburgh Steelers
After four one-possession games in the first five weeks of Sunday Night Football, expectations are very high for primetime games. Last week was the first double-digit game when the Bills defeated the Chiefs 38-20. Week 6 might be close, but it will likely be ugly between the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Seattle Seahawks.
Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger looks like a shell of who he was before. Pittsburgh has started the season 2-3 after going 11-0 last year, and making the playoffs will be a difficult task. The Seahawks have an identical 2-3 record, only they are entering Week 6 without their star quarterback. Russell Wilson suffered a finger injury last week and will miss the first game of his career on Sunday, when backup Geno Smith starts for Seattle.
Monday Night Football: Buffalo Bills vs. Tennessee Titans
The week concludes with a battle of two AFC playoff teams from a year ago. The Buffalo Bills are high after finally defeating Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs last week. They have won four games in a row and sit at 4-1, with Josh Allen firmly in the MVP discussion.
The Tennessee Titans are 3-2 after beating the Jaguars last week, but nasty losses to the Jets and Cardinals have many questioning them. Derrick Henry, as usual, is dominating for the Titans – he’s on his way to breaking the record for most carries in a season and rushing easily for 2,000 yards.
