The internet’s favorite word puzzler releases only one word per day, so it’s a pretty laid-back game when it comes to these things. You just have to talk and relax and then move on to other activities: a good book, a video game, jogging in the crisp winter air.
Regardless, Wordle has taken the world by storm, with millions of gamers daily sharing their successes and failures and the occasional discontent shaking their fists at the clouds and yelling at the rest of us to get off the grass. Not everyone loves Wordle, but not everyone has to either.

Wordle is simple. It’s free, no ads, no microtransactions, and you can’t find it on the App Store or Google Play. If you see a Wordle app on any of them, it’s like running into Slim Shady on the street, just mimicking.
Head over to the game’s official website to play. Here, you will be greeted by six rows of empty boxes. Each row is five boxes wide. These are your guesses. Simply start by guessing a five letter word. Any letter that is correct and in the correct place will appear green. The correct letters in the incorrect psot appear in yellow. Incorrect letters are grey.
