Lahore (November 24, 2014): Government of Punjab has been launched another big housing project in Lahore city. Peoples belonging to all over Punjab province can apply. Residential Apartment or flats of 1 bed and 2 beds will be given to the common man who needed house.
Ashiana Iqbal housing project is located on Burki road. Is almost two and half kilometers away from Burki Raod. The nearest major installation is Allama Iqbal International Airport Lahore.
380 Acres of land area is reserved for this mega housing project. Where thousands of residential flats of 1-2 beds will be built on Public private partnership.
It is located near Lahore International Airport, 2.5 Kilometers away from Burki Road. It is consist of 3100 Kanal (388 Acres) Kanal Area of Land. Government will construct 150 feet wide highway from Burki Road to Ashiana Iqbal Housing Scheme.
Price of apartment is range from 12 lac rupees to 16 lac rupees. While payment will be made in 10 years in easy installments. Each installment will consist of Rs.8000/= to Rs.11000 per month.
This latest housing project is locates on Burki Road Lahore. Application Formcan given for residential apartment till December 22, 2014 (22/12/2014). Application can be obtained from branches of Bank of Punjab (BoP).
Down Payment is also applicable from Rs. 240000 to Rs.320000.
Eligibility Criteria:
- The applicant should have domicile of Punjab.
- The applicant should be having accumulative family income less than Rs. 50,000/month.
- The applicant should not posses his/her own house or plot.
- The applicant should not be more than 55 years of age.
- The applicant should not be alloted with any house or plot from Government of Punjab.

Need to reserve some plot for other provinces as well for overseas pakistanis who has backbone role in the economy of pakistan.
it is good scheme but some plots should be reserved for backward province of balochistan.
A good scheme but Govt. should fix quota for Overseas Punjabi,s.
Moreover,some plots must be allotted to people of other Provinces including
Kasmiris.
