Leadoff hitter Fargana Hoque Pinky scored a half-century and helped the Tigresses go 140 for eight. Her opening partner, Shamima Sultana, also went 33 for 36. From there, the White Ferns trailed the goal in 20 overs, courtesy of Suzie Bates’ unbeaten 79-run knock.
