Sachin’s Blasters lost their second consecutive match against Warne’s Warriors in Houston in the All-Stars Cricket Series. The third and the final match of the T20 series will be played at Los Angeles on November 14.
Shane Warne & Co. scored 262 for five in 20 overs, courtesy Kumar Sangakkara’s 30-ball 70. Sachin Tendulkar’s Blasters managed to score 205 for eight wickets to lose the three-match series.
In the first match, Warne’s Warriors beat Sachin’s Blasters by 6 wickets. Warne led by example with 3 for 20 while Ricky Ponting hit 48 not out to guide them home. Virender Sehwag hit 55 for Sachin’s Blasters.
KUMAR SANGAKKARA is The Man of the Match today. Says it was a lot of fun. Thanks Houston for the hospitality and adds that the crowd was brilliant.
