Eid-ul-Fitr 2016 will be celebrated in Pakistan on Wednesday as Shawwal crescent has been sighted in different parts of the country.
Eid ul Fitr Moon sighted in Pakistan. 1st Shawal of year 1437 AH on 6th July 2016. Pakistan and Saudi Arabia Celebrate Eid on Same Day.
The announcement was made by Chairman of the Central Ruet-i-Hilal Committee, Mufti Munib-ur-Rehman, after chairing the meeting of the committee in Lahore.
Mufti Muneeb Ur Rehman said the confirmations of Eid ul Fitr moon sighting were received from many parts of the country.
