The federal government of Pakistan on Friday has announced to increase the prices of petroleum products for August 2020.
According to a notification issued by the Finance Division, the government has decided to revise the existing prices of petroleum products given the rising oil prices trend in the global market.

The price of petrol has been increased by Rs3.86 to Rs103.97 per liter, while the price of High-Speed Diesel (HSD) has been increased by Rs5.00 to Rs106.46 per liter.
After the increase, petrol will be sold at Rs 103.97 per liter, high-speed diesel at Rs 106.96 per liter, light-speed diesel at Rs 62.86 per liter, and kerosene oil at Rs 65.29 per liter.
The new prices will be applicable from August 1.
On the other hand, the price of Light Diesel Oil (LDO) has been increased by Rs6.62 to Rs62.86 per liter and the price of Superior Kerosene Oil (SKO), has been increased by Rs5.97to Rs65.29 per liter.
