8. Ravi Ashwin
Losing an injury in the final test of the recently completed Gavaskar Border Trophy, R Ashwin prepares to return to action in his first friendly against England at home. The veteran no-spinner will find his chance against British batsmen who are not very comfortable fighting spins.
R Ashwin recently added a note to his name. He became the top left winger in Test Cricket (192). However, with England having plenty of flanks on the sidelines, Ashwin will be a huge threat to them. His strikes on the front lines will also be crucial.
R Ashwin is probably one of the best freaks India has ever produced. The former has represented India in 74 friendlies and amassed 377 goals for an average of 25.54 to his name. Total 377 weekends including 27 draws with five weekends.
