To join the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) as an airman, you will need to meet certain eligibility requirements and pass a selection process.
Eligibility requirements:
- Must be a Pakistani citizen.
- Must be between 15.6 and 22 years old.
- Must have passed your Matriculation (Secondary School) examination with at least 60% marks in total, and with at least 50% marks in each subject.
- Must meet the physical and medical standards set by the PAF.

(1) Eligibility Criteria For Aero-Traders PAF Jobs 2023
- Nationality: Pakistani(پاکستانی)

- Age: 15.5 to 20 Years, on June 26, 2023
- Marital Status: Unmarried(غیر شادی شدہ)
- Height(قد): Minimum 163 cm – 188 cm
- Qualification(تعلیمی قابلیت): A candidate must have passed matric with science and got at least 60% marks. He also got minimum 33% marks in physics, chemistry, and mathematics subjects. Minimum 70/150(47%) marks required in English subject.
(2) Eligibility Criteria For PD& DI PAF Jobs 2023
- Nationality: Pakistani(پاکستانی)
- Gender: Only Male(مرد)
- Age: 16 years and 6 months on December 25, 2023
- Marital Status: Unmarried(غیر شادی شدہ)
- Height: Minimum 178 cm – 188 cm
- EyeSight: 6/6
- Qualification: A candidate must have passed matric with science and secured at least 60% marks. He also secured minimum 45% marks in physics, chemistry, and mathematics subjects. Minimum 75/150(50%) marks required in English subject.
- Physical Test: It is mandatory to pass the physical test which will be conducted before the selection center interview. The physical test will comprise running, push-ups, reach-ups, chin-ups, and a command test(loud and clear voice)
(3) Eligibility Criteria For Sportsman PAF Jobs 2023
- Nationality: Pakistani(پاکستانی)
- Gender: Only Male(مرد)
- Age: 15 years and 6 months on June 26, 2023
- Marital Status: Unmarried(غیر شادی شدہ)
- Height: Minimum 163 cm – 188 cm
- Qualification: A candidate must have passed matric with science and got at least 60% marks. He also got minimum 50/150(33%) marks in English subject. The candidate also received awards for doing well in sports at the district, provincial, national, and international levels. The candidates who will be hired based on their sports skills will also have to do trade duty.
(4) Eligibility Criteria For Women Medical Assistant PAF Jobs 2023
- Nationality: Pakistani(پاکستانی)
- Gender: Only Female(خواتین)
- Age: 16 to 22 Years on December 25, 2023
- Marital Status: Unmarried(غیر شادی شدہ)
- Height: Minimum 147 cm – 188 cm
- Qualification: A female candidate must have passed matric with science and got at least 60% marks. Besides this, she has 60% marks in Biology and passed physics and chemistry with 33% marks. Minimum 68 out of 150 marks required in English subject.
Selection Process:
- Initial screening: The first step in the selection process is an initial screening, which includes an aptitude test, a physical test, and a medical examination.
- Final selection: If you pass the initial screening, you will be invited to attend the final selection process at the PAF Selection and Recruitment Center (ASRC) in your city. The final selection process includes:
- Written tests: These tests assess your knowledge of English, mathematics, and general knowledge.
- Interviews: You will be interviewed by a panel of PAF officers to assess your communication skills and motivation to join the PAF.
- Physical tests: You will be required to complete a series of physical tests, including a 1.5 mile run, push-ups, sit-ups, and a shuttle run.
If you pass the final selection process, you will be offered a place in the PAF as an airman. You will then undergo basic military training at one of the PAF training centers, after which you will be assigned to a specific trade or specialty within the PAF.
