Angelo Mathews: We need to bowl well. We really had a confident boost after that win (against Jaffna). They were unbeaten in that game, so we had to put in our A game. Now is the business end of the tournament. The likes of Laurie, Andre are playing well. Hope they continue that.
Kusal Perera: We are going to bat first. Looks a very good pitch and we want to get a good score and defend it. We did mistakes (in the past games), but we need to trust our abilities and back our strength.

With three wins in four games Colombo Kings find themselves in a very good position to qualify for the semifinals of the Lanka Premier League.
They face Kandy Tuskers in the second contest of the day – an opposition that hasn’t really had a great season having lost four of their five matches.
Under the leadership of Angelo Mathews, the Kings have played well, but can they don the throne by the end of the tournament? The presence of power hitters like Andre Russell and Laurie Evans do make them the favourites to clinch the title.
And the skipper himself can’t be forgotten. Can they overcome the Tuskers today and make it four wins? We shall find that out in a few hours.
