LAHORE: The government has decided to extend the metro bus route from Shahdara to Rachna Town.
The decision was taken at a meeting chaired by Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif on Sunday.
The extension of Metro Bus route by five kilometres will benefit a large number of people, the chief minister said.

He said that the government wanted to provide modern infrastructure facilities to the people. “It is essential for strengthening economy and promoting trade activities. The government is spending billions of rupees for the improvement of infrastructure. Timely and quality completion of infrastructure development projects for facilitating the masses is a policy of the government. Every penny of public money is being spent honestly on infrastructure development projects.
