In their first outing of BPL 2019-20, the Rangpur Rangers were beaten by Cumilla Warriors for 105 runs. Cumilla scored 173 in 20 overs as Dasun Shanaka scored 75 in just 31 deliveries. In reply, the Rangers were all out for 68 runs. Al-Amin Hossain took 3 for just 14 runs. Dasun Shanaka was the man of the match.
Khulna Tigers beat Chattogram Challengers by 8 wickets with 37 balls remaining in their last match. Even though Rilee Rossouw bagged a fine-fifty, the Challengers could not score more than 144 in 20 overs which was chased down successfully by the Khulna Tigers by a great finish from Rahmanullah Gurbaz who was unbeaten on 50 from just 19 balls. Rilee Rossouw was the man of the match in this match.
