England will look to create it two wins from their opening two Uefa Nations League games once they trip Denmark on Tuesday for a 7:45pm kick-off at Telia Parken.
The Three Lions were incredibly fortunate to go away Reykjavik with all three points on Saturday as Birkir Bjarnason blazed his last-minute penalty over the bar just moments after Raheem Sterling gave England the lead from the spot himself.
Still, last year’s Nations League semi-finalists are going to be glad of the three points and, in a sense, to banish the ghost of their Euro 2016 defeat to Iceland.
In Denmark, Gareth Southgate’s side will face one more stern test. Kasper Hjulmand’s side may have fallen to a 2-0 defeat to Belgium last day out, but they still have a team full of top-class quality and had gone 13 games unbeaten before that loss, a run which fits all the way back to their last-16 penalty shootout defeat to Croatia within the 2018 World Cup.
There’s all to play for during this Group A2 clash, so read on for our preview, prediction, team news and live broadcast information.

Denmark & England’s line-ups:
- Denmark: Schmeichel; Wass, Kjaer, Christensen, Skov; Eriksen, Hojbjerg, Delaney; Poulsen, Dolberg, Braithwaite.
- England: Pickford; Walker*, Gomez, Dier, Trippier; Ward-Prowse, Rice, Foden*; Sancho, Kane, Sterling.
Despite a defeat in his opening game as Denmark manager, Hjulmand is probably going to stay near the XI which did a good job in limiting an exciting Belgium side, although he are trying to find more attacking impetus from his own players against the Three Lions.
England are going to be without Kyle Walker, who was sent off after receiving two yellow cards against Iceland last outing. Trent Alexander-Arnold should get the starting XI in his place. Phil Foden and Mason Greenwood also are unavailable, leaving the squad because of a disciplinary breach.
