Thousands of Students in Punjab are at the verge of educational crisis for the Education Boards’ authorities now demand Form-B to get them registered for the examinations to be held in 2015.
PakistanTribe‘s correspondent reported from Lahore on Friday that thousands of students were left in shock when online registration process for the examination demanded the Form-B’s number.
Form-B is the birth certificate that includes name, father’s name, place and date of birth of a person. This form is often used as official personal ID until a person reaches the age of 18 years to hold the Computerized National Identity Card (CNIC).
Although after the computerization of Form-B issuance process it got a little easier to register with National Database Registration Authority (NADRA) but bribes, counterfeit and other malpractices still mar its standards. Citing these difficulties, the Chief Minister of Punjab Shahbaz Sharif had cancelled the condition of Form-B to get admission in matriculation exams.
However, the Inter Board Chairmen’s Committee of Punjab Educational Board had again put functional the condition without any prior notice. It will not only deprived thousands of students from getting admissions but also their complete educational year would be spent in vain.
Students and their parents demanded from Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif to take an immediate notice of this pertinent matter.
