KUANTAN (Web Desk / APP): Pakistan today face traditional arch rival India in the QNET Asian Hockey Champions Trophy Final Match on 20th October 2016 at Wisma Belia Hockey Stadium in Kuantan in Malaysia.
On Saturday Pakistan Goalkeeper Amjad Ali defend the Goal to defeat Host Malaysia by 3-2 in the penalty shootout and make it to the final of the fourth QNET Asian Champions Trophy Hockey tournament here on Saturday. Pakistan secure their place in the Final match against India.
In second quarter of the Match at 18th Minute Malaysia Score 1st Goal through Penalty Corner to lead in the match. But Pakistan equalized the score at 34th Minute in a open play goal by Abdul Khan.
In the Shootout, Malaysia only Score Goal on first two attempts by Firhan Ashari and and Faizal Saari but other three attempts by Faiz Jali, Shahril Saabah and Fitri Saari are faltered.
While Pakistan got only four shots as Pakistan’s Muhammad Ifran Jr, Abdul Khan and Muhammad Arslan Qadir shot on target, while only Muhammad Rizwan Sr failed on his attempt. As Pakistan already taken winning lead, fifth shot was not required.
