Pakistan will be looking to carry further their winning momentum when they lock horns with Australia in the third quarterfinal of World Cup at Adelaide Oval on Friday.
Having begun their campaign with thrashing defeats to India and West Indies, the 1992 champions recovered in a sublime fashion to win the remaining four games to finish at third position in Pool B.

Pakistan are unlikely to tinker with their XI that defeated Ireland comprehensively by seven wickets int heir last group match. Ehsan Adil had replaced injured pacer Mohammad Irfan, who has now been ruled out of the tournament, in the Ireland game and is expected to retain his place for Australia clash.
Australia are likely to replace fast bowler Pat Cummins with Josh Hazlewood but no other change is likely in their combination that defeated Scotland by seven wickets in their last group match.
The will mark ninth time that Pakistan and Australia will go head to head in a World Cup match. Both sides won half of the pervious eight encounters.
