The third and the final One-Day International (ODI) between Zimbabwe and Pakistan will happen on October 5, thereby marking the end of the nine-day tour.
However, the visitors will have eight days to prepare themselves to host the high-spirited English side in the UAE for long series consisting of three Tests, four ODIs and three Twenty20 Internationals (T20Is). All the matches will be played in UAE’s “big three” grounds—Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Sharjah.
Although, Tests and ODIs are first priorities for any side, the T20Is will be given special attention from now on keeping in mind the upcoming ICC World T20 2016, which will commence in March in India.
Before the big event, Pakistan will have a practice of good amount of T20 cricket, thanks to the series against Zimbabwe, England and the New Zealand, with the latter happening in January. While the visitors play two T20Is against the African side, they have three T20Is each in their next two series.
Meanwhile, there is no update regarding Zimbabwe’s future series after the end of the matches against Pakistan at home.
