Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has announced ‘Green Line’ bus service under a Rapid Transport service for Karachi.
The federal government will provide Rs. 15 billion for the project which would replicate the model of Lahore’s Metro Bus service.
Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif said in case the Sindh and city governments failed to finance its share, the same would also be contributed by the federal government.
The prime minister visited Karachi on Thursday and also had a meeting with traders to discuss problems they were encountering.
This Rapid Bus Service will start from Surjani Town and will terminate at Karachi Cantt. (Saddar).
