PAKISTAN
- Pakistan lost once again in the second T20 international on Monday to lose the series 2-0 making this final game a dead rubber, and they will be hugely disappointed with how they have played in the opening two games.
- Umar Akmal and Ahmed Shehzad retained their places but Akmal especially looks woefully short of form and confidence as he suffered another duck while the decision to bring Fakhar Zaman back into the side did not pay off as the batting failed once again with even Babar Azam looking out of touch.

- The visitors wrapped up a 2-0 series victory on Monday as they beat Pakistan by 35 runs this time and once again, the victory came after a strong performance batting first as they put 182/6 on the board and always had control in holding the hosts’ run chase at bay.
- After taking three wickets in the first T20 match, Nuwan Pradeep followed that up with four wickets in this game while Wanindu Hasaranga was the game changer as he took three wickets in one over to tip the match firmly in Sri Lanka’s favour, and they could well go unchanged for this final game.
