
The Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee (CRHC) has announced that Ramadan moon has been not sighted anywhere and now first fast will be kept on Monday, June 30, 2014 in the Pakistan.
The above announcement was made by Chairman Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee, Mufti Munib ur Rehman after a meeting of the government body held here at Met Complex for moon sighting of the holy month of Ramazan here on Tuesday.
Mufti Munib ur Rehman said not a single witness of the Ramazan moon approached the committee from any part of the country including Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province.
Zonal Ruet-e-Hilal Committees’ meetings were also held at their respective headquarters for sighting the Ramadan moon.
Apart from the Ruet-e-Hilal committees, 48 centers of Meteorological Department also tried to spot Ramadan moon across the country.
After hours’ long meetings of all zonal and central Ruet-e-Hilal committees and considering reports of Meteorological Department, Mufti Munib-ur-Rehman announced of not sighting Ramadan moon anywhere in the country.
Mufti Munib announced that Ramdan moon has not been spotted anywhere, so first fast of the holy month will be kept on Monday, June 30, 2014.
