The University of Health Sciences (UHS) on Saturday issued the first selection list of candidates admitted to MBBS in public sector medical colleges of Punjab.
University of Health Sciences Lahore (UHS) is going to display the First Merit List of MBBS of Govt Medical colleges of Punjab for session 2014-15.
The 1st merit list is scheduled to be on Wednesday 29 October 2014.
Many Students are still under the confusion of 50 5o quota system but we have already posted on blog that quota system will never be implemented in Punjab or Pakistan. And finally today on 29 October 2014 the Lahore High Court has given statement against the 50 50 quota system of Pakistan Medical and Dental Council ( PMDC) . So , now , there should be no confusion of about 50 50 rule any more.
This is really a good news for the female students who were more tensed than boys about implementation of this rule. Though this news goes somehow bad for boys because girls are more in in this field and Defeinetly got more seats in medical and dental colleges of Punjab.
By our confidential resources the merit of MBBS for 2014 is going to as low as 85.66% . By how the last merit of MBBS printed in Jang Newspaper was 85.8% but today form UHS we confirmed it is 85.66% !!!!
This is really good news for the medical students that the merit of UHS goes low after 15 years of long span.
Moreover we have also got the close enough last merit of all medical colleges for session 2014-15 by UHS and it is given below .
The official merit lists by UHS will be uploaded on October 29 , 2014 between 5 P.M to 10:00 PM.

- The admission granted to the candidates is provisional at this stage and it will be cancelled;
- If it is found at any stage of MBBS/ BDS course that the candidate was not entitled for admission according to the medical & dental institutions admission policy of Govt. of the Punjab.
- If candidate fails to report for admission and deposit fee on due date.
- If any document/information provided by candidate is found false/fake or fabricated at any stage of MBBS/BDS course.

Selected candidates will be issued call letters by their respective colleges. They should wait for their call letters and for further information, they may contact their respective colleges. No correspondence in this regard with University of Health Sciences will be entertained.
