Leading British broadcaster British Broadcasting (BBC) has released a list of 100 most inspiring women in the world this year, as it does every year, including two Pakistani women.
The most inspiring women on the list have selected from different fields. This year, women have divided into 4 main categories: knowledge, creativity, identity, and leadership.
100 most inspiring women in the world
The list of 100 most influential women ranges from European country the youngest female Prime Minister of Finland to the former prostitute of Bangladesh and Pakistani actress Mahira Khan to India’s elderly leader, Balqis Bano.
This list aims to recognize women’s services in different countries of the world who are striving for social change, protection of women, and an ideal society.
The BBC publishes the list every year. Last year, only one Pakistani woman, Balochistan human rights activist and lawyer Jalila Haider, included.
This year, the list of the world’s 100 most inspiring women includes Pakistani actress and UN (UN) Ambassador for Goodwill Mahira Khan and Dr. Sania Nishtar, head of the government’s poverty alleviation program in Pakistan.
While only two women from Pakistan have added to the list, four women from India have added, including an elderly Muslim woman, Bilquis Bano, known as a protest leader.
Similarly, a musician, an athlete, and an environmental activist from India have also included.
Most Inspiring Women Prime Minister
This year, as every year, more women from the United States and the United Kingdom have selected for the list, while 2 women from Bangladesh have also included in the list this year.
The list also includes Reena Akhtar, a former sex worker from Bangladesh, who provided rations and food to 400 families of prostitutes during the Corona epidemic.
Similarly, one teacher from Bangladesh has also included in the list, two women from Afghanistan and Iran have also included in the list.
The list also includes the most inspiring women from the Middle East, Syria, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Egypt, and Morocco.
However, no women from countries such as Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, and Bahrain included.
The list also includes Sanaa Marin, the youngest female Prime Minister of the European country Finland.
