The Pakistan Super League (PSL) is famous for its bowlers, but some batsmen have managed to impress the crowd and are the best in the history of the event, with Pakistani star batsman Babar Azam topping the list.
In the six editions of the league between 2016 and 2021, Pakistan’s modern-day great Babar, who plays for the Karachi Kings, is the PSL’s all-time leading goalscorer with 2,070 runs in 58 games at an average of 43 ,12. His highest score is 90 not-out and he is 21 in his fifties. The batsman will rise to add to his points tally at the upcoming PSL 2022.
Second on the list is Peshawar Zalmi starter and goaltender Kamran Akmal who scored 1,820 points in 69 games with a healthy 136.84 strike rate. He also has the most centuries having scored three centuries with the highest score of 107 no-outs, as well as 11 half-centuries.
The third-highest running scorer is Shoaib Malik, who had 1,481 points in 61 games with an average of 32.19 and a strike rate of 128.11, along with nine fifty.
Australian Shane Watson, who also retired from the domestic leagues in the 2020 edition, scored 1,361 points in 46 games.
Fifth is left-hander Fakhar Zaman who has scored 1,351 points in 50 games.
