The eighth edition of the Pakistan Super League promises to be the biggest yet as six PSL 2023 teams battle it out for the coveted PSL title. Six teams have completed their PSL 2023 rosters, improving the quality of their already stellar rosters. The PSL 8 teams of the six franchises include a total of 18 players, each with international players, national Pakistani stars, and young and emerging talent from across the country.
PSL 8 teams have formed their rosters according to the draft. Players on PSL 8 teams have been divided into six categories: Platinum, Diamond, Gold, Silver, Evolving, and Additional. Each team was allowed to retain a maximum of 8 PSL team players ahead of the 2023 PSL Draft.

PSL 2023 Teams Squad
All PSL 2023 teams include superstars such as David Miller, Rashid Khan, Matthew Wade, Alex Hales, Colin Munroe, and Vanindu Hasaranga joining superstars such as Babar Azam, Mohammad Rizwan, Shaheen Afridi, Shadab Khan, and other Pakistani Superstar. The PSL 2023 roster for each franchise is filled with international and national stars as they put together their rosters in the PSL 8 Draft to compete for the coveted title.
The draft for PSL 2023 took place on December 15 when all six franchises: Karachi Kings, Peshawar Zalmi, Lahore Qalandars, Islamabad United, Multan Sultans, and Quetta Gladiators formed their 18-man teams for the T20 Main Event in Pakistan.
Lahore Qalandars Squad 2023
The defending champions, Lahore Qalandars, will aim to become the first team in PSL history to retain their title and become the second PSL team in history to become multiple champions. The Lahore Qalandars PSL 2023 roster looks well-equipped to defend their title with a well-balanced and all-star squad.
The side led by Shaheen Afridi also has the star power of Rashid Khan, Haris Rauf, and Fakhar Zaman, while they have also hired the likes of Sikandar Raza and Liam Dawson as replacements for Mohammad Hafiz and Samit Patel.
The Lahore Qalandars PSL 8 team can go all the way to claim their second PSL title. Here is the composition of Lahore Qalandar for 2023:

Multan Sultans Squad 2023
Last year’s finalists, the Multan Sultans, will be determined this time to take another step forward and win their second PSL title. They have been one of the most consistent teams in recent PSL seasons after winning PSL 6 and finishing second in PSL 7. The Multan Sultans PSL 2023 team looks even better than before and is a strong favorite to win PSL 8.
The side led by Mohammad Rizwan stepped up the firepower of their already explosive force. Although they already had the likes of Tim David, Riley Rossow, Shan Massoud, and Shahnawaz Dahani, they improved even further by lifting David Miller, Josh Little, and Akil Hossein.
The Multan Sultans PSL 8 squad looks well-balanced and has the firepower to go all the way. Here is the line-up of Multan Sultans 2023:

Islamabad United Squad 2023
However, the only multiple champions in PSL history, Islamabad United will be looking to maintain their record and win the PSL 8 title. They have been one of the most exciting teams in PSL history with an attractive and attacking look to cricket. While Islamabad suffered a setback in the play-off stage the previous season, they are coming into PSL 8 better prepared than before thanks to a smart recruiting strategy.
The Shadab Khan-led side already has one of the most exciting teams in the competition with the likes of Alex Hales, Colin Munroe, Paul Stirling, Azam Khan, and Asif Ali. They now also have a strong bowling group that includes Abrar Ahmed and Rumman Rais, as well as English all-rounder Moin Ali.
The Islamabad United PSL 8 roster looks well-balanced and has every chance of becoming one of the best teams in the tournament. Here is the Islamabad United 2023 squad:

Peshawar Zalmi Squad 2023
Peshawar Zalmi will be aiming for a strong comeback at PSL 8 after a less-than-stellar performance at PSL 7. Zalmi hired Pakistan’s all-round captain Babar Azam ahead of PSL 2023 in a high-profile deal with the Karachi Kings.
Peshawar has invested heavily in young blood, hiring the likes of Saim Ayub, Hasibullah, and Danish Aziz, and has also acquired T20 superstars like Bhanuka Rajapaksa, Jimmy Nisham, and Mujib-ur-Rahman. Combined with the experience of Wahab Riaz and Babar Azam, Zalmi looks like a force to be reckoned with.
The Peshawar Zalmi PSL 8 roster looks exciting, combining youth and experience, and could be one of the teams to keep an eye on in the tournament. Here is the Peshawar Zalmi 2023 squad:

Karachi Kings Squad 2023
The Karachi Kings had a disastrous PSL 7 as they finished last with only 1 win in the tournament. They will be determined to bounce back in PSL 8 as they traded Hyder Ali and Shoaib Malik in place of Babar Azam.
The team led by Imad Wasim also added to their already solid team of Sharjil Khan, Mohammad Amir, and Qasim Akram such as Matthew Wade, Imran Tahir, and Andrew Tai. Paired with characters like Shoaib Malik and Imad Wasim, Karachi looks much better than it did in the previous season.

The Quetta Gladiators will be looking to bounce back from a disappointing performance at PSL 7. They have picked up the likes of Vanindu Hasaranga, Martin Guptill, and Odean Smith who have provided a much-needed boost to their team.
Quetta’s bowling division of Naseem Shah, Mohammad Hasnian, Hasaranga, Mohammad Nawaz, and Naveen-ul-Haq provided a much-needed balance to their team, combined with the explosiveness of Will Smeed, Jason Roy, Iftikhar Ahmed, and Umar Akmal. most of their bases are closed.
The Quetta Gladiators PSL 8 team is looking formidable with the potential to go all the way. Here is the lineup for Quetta Gladiators 2023:
